They are  accomplished professional artists who have many years of experience in teaching studio arts.

Steven Rosati

Steven Rosati

Steven Rosati is an award winning Canadian portrait artist, teacher, and graphic designer. He was born in 1964 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He studied painting and art history in schools both publicly and privately however considers his own studies of the Old Masters in museums the most rewarding. Steven’s work can be found in many public and private collections. He currently lives and works in Montreal with his wife and two sons.

Claudine Ascher

Claudine Ascher

Claudine Ascher is an accomplished artist who works in clay, drawing, painting and installation/performance. Her work explores identity through all of its perfect and imperfect states with a remarkable sensitivity to each medium. Claudine is equally known through her work as a studio educator and gallery curator.

Bev Wight

Bev Wight

Bev Wight’s artwork is purchased by private collectors in the United States, France, eastern Europe, Montreal and the rest of Canada. Her work adorns the walls of both corporations and businesses. Bev has shown in such noteworthy places as Lincoln Centre, New York, and has been purchased by The Colart Collection in Montreal. She regularly sits on many art adjudicating committees. Bev has been in solo and group shows and continues to do so today, along side her career as an artist-teacher.

Branka Marinkovic

Branka Marinkovic

Branka Marinkovic holds a BFA in painting, an MA in Art Education with an extensive background in art history. Her work can be found in collections at home, in the USA and Europe. She has been teaching painting and drawing in Montreal for over 10 years. Primarily an oil painter, she is experienced with a broad variety of painting and drawing materials.

Her teaching philosophy is founded on sound technical apprenticeship with a flair for creative experimentation. Each class includes in depth demonstrations and individual attention to the needs and interests of students. She has produced and developed many videos on painting techniques as well as a blog with tips and techniques.

Donna McGee

Donna McGee

Donna McGee is an artist painter and teacher, B.A., McGill University, Montreal, and M.A. in Art History, Concordia University, Montreal.


Passionate about her art and teaching, Donna specializes in the techniques in acrylic , watercolour and drawing. She has a unique style of individual instruction that includes demonstrations, advice about how to use different materials, colour theory and showing examples from art history to guide students in finding their own voice in their art.
